STEP BY STEP

  1. To begin, create a vertical stitch across 2 threads, then overlay it with a horizontal stitch across 2 threads to make a cross.

  2. Start your second cross with a vertical stitch 2 threads along and overlay it with a horizontal stitch which should go in the same hole as the previous horizontal stitch.

  3. Your second row should interlock with the stitches from the first row.  Once you reach your third row, stitches from 4 adjacent crosses should all  be going into the same hole.
