'About us' is a little bit grand given that it's really just me!

Sew Sew Mellow is my creation. My name is Elin and I'm a London based hand sewing enthusiast, designer and Royal School of Needlework graduate.

I have always been fascinated with needlework and find the rhythmical act of stitching something by hand very rewarding and calming. It's my happy place and helps quieten my anxiety after a busy day. I would encourage anyone to give it a try. You don't have to be particularly artistic or an expert stitcher to gain the benefits.

Creating and selling my own designs has been a dream of mine for a long time and I've finally gone and done it! I've only recently opened my online shop and I've been amazed at the support my little business has been given already. I'm learning something new every day and meeting some wonderfully supportive people.

My plan is to continue adding more designs to my collection over the coming months. I hope they bring you as much contentment as I got from putting them together.
