CASHMERE DIAGONAL

Cashmere Diagonal, as the name suggests, is a diagonal stitch which is made up of rectangular blocks of 4 stitches that run in diagonal rows.

STEP BY STEP
- To begin, make a Tent Stitch across one intersection of the canvas. For your second stitch come up next to your first stitch and make a diagonal stitch across 2 intersections of the canvas. Do the same again for your third stitch. Complete the rectangle with a Tent Stitch across one intersection of the canvas in the opposing corner.
- Your final Tent Stitch in one rectangle acts as the first Tent Stitch in the next. Continue the pattern diagonally with 2 long stitches across 2 intersections, followed by a Tent Stitch.
- For your second row if you are working from left to right, your first tent stitch of each block should meet the top right hand corner of the previous row’s block .
