MATCH YOUR YARN WITH THE COLOUR GUIDE

Before you start, it's a good idea to match the yarns you've received to the colours on the canvas and in the enclosed colour and stitch guide so that you are clear which colour is used where from the outset.

There is a colour key to the side of the design to help you. We recommend you tie a small sample of each colour yarn to the corresponding square on the colour key for ease of reference.

You will have received enough yarn to complete the design but if you run out of a colour for any reason, please email us at hello@sewsewmellow.com quoting your original order number plus the colour you require and we will send you a free top up.

SELECT YOUR STITCHES

Before you begin, consider whether you would like to use the same stitch such as Tent stitch across the whole design or if you would prefer to use a variety of different stitches to add additional texture and interest. Either way the end result will look fantastic.

If you would like to experiment with different stitches take a look at our Stitch Library for inspiration.

TOP TIP

You can use the outer edges around the canvas to sample stitches. You can always unpick them later once you've finished.
